Matt Taylor is a forestry consultant with 20 years’ advisory experience both in the UK and overseas. He works with the CLA advising members on all matters relating to trees and woodlands. His role also involves policy development and representing landowner interests in a range of stakeholder forums.

This seminar will explore the economics of woodlands, from creation to harvest. It will look at some of the opportunities and constraints presented by the many funding opportunities available when creating woodlands, including carbon funding and the role for woodlands in Defra’s Environmental Land Management Scheme.
