Creating Farm Business Efficiency Through Innovation

About James Brown

James joined Brown&Co in 2008 having graduated with an Honours degree in Business Management & Marketing from Harper Adams, becoming Partner in 2019.

He specialises in business appraisals, the setting up and monitoring of Contract Farming Agreements, Agricultural Legislation work covering Basic Payment Scheme regulation, Rural grants and Environmental Stewardship.

Leading the Agricultural Business Consultancy team in Banbury, James also works across the country with Banks and Investment Houses who require Due Diligence for Agricultural enterprises including the renewables sector with a focus on anaerobic digestion.

He has also undertaken international projects most notably a government project based in St Vincent & the Grenadines delivering property revaluation across all islands.

The agricultural industry is no stranger to change, however the proposed Agricultural Bill infers that farm businesses will need to adapt in order to compete in the global market place. We will be presenting on a range of development opportunities which have either been successfully implemented in the UK or could be introduced using technology from across the globe.
